Chicago Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Committee Guide

I am a proud member of the Chicago Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Committee (JEC). It is quite an honor and a pleasure to sit on a committee that evaluates candidates for judge. It is really fascinating to interview people associated with candidates, meet the candidates in person, and share our findings with the public.

One of the most important roles we fill is in reviewing and evaluating judicial candidates. With an elected judiciary, the only way to keep unqualified judges off the bench is if you, the public, heed these recommendations.
