Crashes, Collapses, and Conflagrations, Oh My!

The intent was to demonstrate how planning for one's future financially also goes hand in hand with planning for the bad things we all hope to avoid, accidents, collisions, falls, and work injuries. All of this is information you have probably seen on this site previously, but I hope it spurs you to act upon it.

Much as we should all plan for our futures by having wills and estate planning documents, we should all know what to do in the event an accident does happen to us.

Results

Client, a female in her mid-40s, was a passenger in a car driven by her fiancé (now husband) waiting to make a left turn when a large SUV ran a red light and plowed into them at over 40 miles per hour. The Dodge Neon they were riding in was totaled when it spun across the intersection. The damage was so severe it caused the center console of the car to be pushed into the left hip and leg of the client. The client was able to recover $650,000 for the serious and permanent injuries she suffered. Read more
